Policy

Editorial Policy

Standards for accuracy, corrections, category boundaries, commercial independence, and the handling of uncertain claims.

Accuracy

Factual statements should be traceable to a credible source family. When a claim depends on interpretation, the copy should make that visible instead of presenting the conclusion as settled fact.

Category boundaries

One of the site’s core editorial policies is structural: do not blur apparel made from shorn fleece with plush toys, felted objects, or hide-based decorative pieces. Each category brings different material, care, safety, and labeling questions.

Commercial independence

The copy is written as reference material, not as retailer positioning. Fiber prestige language, luxury cues, and feel-good sustainability wording are not used unless the claim can be tied to a defined standard or a specific material property.

Corrections and revisions

When standards or regulations move, the page should be updated rather than padded with outdated caveats. Where a statement becomes too time-sensitive to stand without rechecking, production teams should revise or temporarily remove it.
